During a 2 to 3 minute session at cryogenic temperatures, blood vessels in your skin’s surface and muscle tissue constrict, forcing blood away from your peripheral tissues and toward your core. In the core, the body’s natural filtration system works to remove toxins and inflammatory properties in the blood.
After exiting the cryochamber, blood flows back to peripheral tissues. Now enriched with oxygen, nutrients, and enzymes, your blood warms the skin and muscle tissue and increases range of motion.
Over the next 48 hours, the process of restoration occurs and the body returns to a former and better condition. Clients report benefits that include reduced pain and inflammation, increased energy levels, and shorter recover times from injury or workouts.
You can also choose to alternate between heat and cold during the same session providing a richer user experience and better results. Likewise, Cryosense is the first and only cryochamber with two different target zones that allow you to choose greater cold intensity on the upper body or lower body, or keep a consistent level of cold over the whole body.
You have the option of starting each session with 40 seconds of heat and then a
standard 2-3 minute cryotherapy session ensues. What also makes this experience unique is that you can safely go to colder temperatures with less risk due to the Cryosense constant dry technology..
To further set itself apart from the one-cold-fits-all market, our Cryosense chamber offers eight different client experience settings that provide a tailor-made session to the specific needs of each individual, resulting in improved recovery outcomes.
An effective method for decreasing and replenishing muscles and other soft tissues following hard workouts. *
Kirk Campbell, M.D., sports medicine surgeon, NYU’s Langone Medical Center: “…many athletes swear by the treatment, saying they feel energized and recover faster as a result of using a cryochamber.”
Your first whole body cryotherapy appointment can take anywhere between 15-20 minutes so that we can fully educate you on the process and answer any questions you may have. After the first appointment, sessions typically take 5-7 minutes.
With the exposure to the extremely cold temperatures, body flushes your tissues of toxins and circulates blood between the cardiovascular system and the vital organs on a continuous loop. This continues to cleanse the blood over and over while continuing to add oxygen, nutrients, and enzymes. Once you exit the cryosauna, your body immediately begins vasodilation, returning the enriched blood to peripheral tissues that have been cleansed of toxins.
"New expanded forms of cold therapy can be very helpful for folks who have debilitating pain and inflammation. I think it's a sensible thing to try if you're having a lot of pain."
"The cryochamber meets the needs of the professional athletes that I work with by enabling them to train at a higher level of intensity, recover faster, and reduce down-time due to injury. It is hands down the best recovery product on the market."
"Is Cryotherapy the Next Trend in Athlete Recovery? Instead of sitting in an ice tub for 15 minutes... the cryochamber... can do better in three minutes."
"The cryochamber helped me recover from injury to have one of the best seasons of my career. I train hard and I haven't found anything else that can help me recover as quickly as the cryochamber."
"My athletes recover after a hard interval workout back-to-back with a hard lifting session, and feel great when they are normally wiped ouyt! They feel like they can go work out again!"
